It was spectacular!  It is a beautiful, historical and very interesting part of Italy.  The food was great.  The scenery was great.  The side excursions tour took us to were great.  The hotels were great. The food was great – and plentiful.  The 3 Tour Leaders were great.  Bicycling along both the Ionian and Adriatic Seas was spectacular. The guides, as usual, were great, the hotels were wonderful including two absolutely breathtaking agritourismo resorts, and the biking was beautiful and fairly easy for weekend type bikers like us. The roads were uncrowded and well marked by the guides so you didn’t need a cue sheet or even GPS.  Scenery and villages were lovely and the cities were beautiful.  But the two guides, Stephane and Sophie put the plus on experience; friendly, attentive, knowledgeable.  Stephane is an expert on the wines of the area and we got to taste many of the fine wines.  When you pay for a trip like this you want your expectations met and Experience Plus did that. read less
